Safe-play terms and self-control tools
Eight terms that help you play within clear limits and spot the risks. Gambling is for adults aged 18 and over only, and no game can promise a win.

- Deposit limitHad deposit
- A control that caps how much you can deposit within a period such as a day, a week or a month. Once you reach the cap, further deposits are blocked until the period ends. Base the limit on money you are happy to spend on entertainment, not money meant for bills, food or savings.
- Example: You set aside RM200 a month for entertainment, so your monthly deposit limit is set at RM200.
- Time reminderReality check; peringatan masa
- A notification that pops up after a set period of play to tell you how long your session has been running. Time slips away easily in fast games, especially slots and live tables. The reminder gives you a moment to pause, check your balance and decide whether to carry on or stop.
- Example: The reminder appears after an hour; you look at your balance, see the session budget is nearly gone, and log out.
- Cooling-offTime-out; rehat sementara
- A short suspension of your account for a period you choose, during which you cannot play or deposit. It suits moments when you feel too emotional, tired or find yourself playing longer than planned. Pick a period long enough to clear your head before coming back.
- Example: After losing several rounds in a row, you choose a cooling-off period of a few days instead of trying to win the money back.
- Self-exclusionPengecualian diri
- A firmer step than cooling-off, where your account is blocked from play for a long period at your own request. Self-exclusion is the right move if gambling is already hurting your finances, work or relationships. Pair it with outside support such as counselling or a helpline, and remove the app from your mobile phone.
- Example: You request self-exclusion through support, then delete the APK and your bookmarks on the same day.
- Chasing lossesMengejar kerugian
- The habit of raising stakes or playing on to win back money already lost. It is risky because every round is independent, so past losses do not make the next win any more likely. Early signs include extra deposits beyond your budget and a feeling that you must “get back to even” before stopping.
- Example: After losing RM50 you are tempted to double your stake; recognising that urge as chasing losses is your signal to stop.
- House edgeKelebihan rumah
- The mathematical advantage built into every game, expressed as the average share of stakes the house keeps over the long run. It is the flip side of RTP. Betting systems, past result patterns and rebates do not remove it, so play should be treated as the cost of entertainment rather than a way to earn money.
- Example: European roulette has one zero among 37 pockets, giving a house edge of about 2.7% on most bets.
- RNG (Random Number Generator)Penjana nombor rawak
- Software that produces random outcomes for slots and other digital games. Each spin's result is fixed the moment you press the button, unaffected by previous spins, the time of day or the size of your stake. That is why there are no “hot hours” and no machine that is “due” to pay.
- Example: Five spins without a win do not make the sixth spin any more likely to win.
- Phishing and fake sitesLaman palsu; copycat site
- Scams that use websites, messages or apps imitating a real brand to steal passwords, banking details or deposits. SlotKaki's official domains are slotkaki.shop, slotkaki.org, slotkaki.site, slotkaki.online, slotkaki.help, slotkaki.space, slotkaki.sbs, slotkaki.fun, slotkaki.store and slotkaki-online.pages.dev. The official Android APK comes only from the app button on slotkaki.shop. Never share your password or TAC code with anyone.
- Example: You receive a link to a domain spelt almost like slotkaki.org; do not log in, and call NSRC on 997 if money has already been transferred.
Need help? If gambling is starting to affect your life or someone close to you, call Talian Kasih on 15999, or reach Befrienders through befrienders.org.my for emotional support. If you have fallen victim to an online scam, contact NSRC (National Scam Response Centre) on 997 as quickly as possible.
Deposit limits, time reminders, cooling-off and self-exclusion are available to account holders; if you are unsure how to switch them on, ask support through live chat at slotkaki.org. It also helps to understand RTP in the slot glossary and the withdrawal rules in the payments and account glossary. Always start from the official slotkaki.shop home page so you do not end up on a fake site.
